Professional Experience Project
UT Austin | Spring 2022
Capstone project completed to fulfill the requirements of the MSIS program. I worked with Margaret Henderson at San Diego State University to create a health information LibGuide for San Diego Circuit. This LibGuide is a starting point for addressing health misinformation in San Diego County.
This project was funded by the Bowden Capstone Scholarship.

Design Diary

This project is a Design Diary completed to fulfill the course requirements for Understanding and Serving Users, an introductory user experience course instructed by Dr. Andrew Dillon.
The project consists of five unique entries detailing design flaws experienced in daily life and proposed solutions based on human-centered design research in the form of a creative diary.

Metadata for a Personal Object

This project is a written description of the process of creating metadata for a personal, born-digital object: a landscape photograph. This was created to fulfill the course requirements of Digital Libraries with Melanie Cofield.
This paper includes notes on the overall decision-making process, an element breakdown in Dublin Core, element values for Dublin Core and VRA Core, and final observations about the process.
